Doors were rusty after only 2 months. Ice dispenser often spits out one more cube after I'm 12 feet away. It's VERY noisy. Beverages were freezing when set on medium setting. I tried to "Buy American made" what a disappointment!

We bought this rather quickly and I liked my old GE one better. The stainless steel is anything but stainless and very difficult to keep clean, and smudge free. The steel has a horizontal "grain" to it, which is different than most other appliances, so you have to clean and polish it side to side, rather than up and down. Also, seems to be missing a deli drawer. We are empty nesters now so not hugely important, but may be for a larger family. It does have 2 crisper type drawers at the bottom.

It's a Refrigerator!

This refrigerator was installed in our house when we bought it. It's a refrigerator! It keeps things cold. We are using it! I put things that I just want somewhat cold in the refrigerator side and things I want really cold in the freezer side. Don't mix those up or there might be trouble. Wish it were double the size on both sides so I could keep more things cold and frozen, but I'd have to get rid of my kitchen sink if it were double the size.

I love the space/look/price. Works great! Quiet! But the one thing I would change is the water spout dribbles down the door after filling a glass of water instead of catching in the tray.

Knowing now what I didn't realize when I purchased the product the water an ice dispense area does not accommodate the majority of my glasses it to short. When tilting the glass to get ice I tend to hit both ice and water at the same time leaving a mess to clean up.I don't care for how the shelves are set up. My old refrigerator had adjustable brackets on the back that I could adjust the shelves any where I wanted them. The prefect refrigerator would have adjustable brackets, taller ice and water dispenser area and dispenser would not be in front of each other.

I bought this a couple months ago. The ice container holds a lot! The fridge only has two drawers I use for veggies. I miss a snack/meat drawer. The ice/water panel doesn't accommodate large cups very well, we push the water button accidentally when getting ice. Other than that, I'm very happy with the fridge.

I've had this Amana SS side-by-side for a few months now. I like the filtered water lasting 6 mo. It's not as roomy on the refrigerator side as my previous fridge; the door is not as deep and neither are the shelves. We probably shouldn't keep as much in there as we do anyway, as there are only 2 of us.

the ice/water dispenser area is a little too small for our liking, can't fit very big cups in there well....also the ice maker doesnt quite keep up with our ice needs, and it would be nice if the shelves could be adjusted to move them around, also the ice maker part in the freezer takes up a lot of room in the freezer. also this fridge is kinda noisy with the humming and loud ice maker noises it makes. and the stainless steel gets dirty easier then our last fridge did.

This fridge was in the new house we bought. It looks nice but it is way too small, for us anyway. The fridge side is very narrow and doesn't hold much. The freezer side is also very narrow and dominated by the ice maker and ice storage bin. There is little storage on the swing out door as the water/ice dispenser takes up most of the space on it as well. The water filter is easy to find and get at to replace but the replacements are VERY EXPENSIVE. The temperature control only gives you 3 settings Off, medium, and very cold so that stinks as well.

I purchased my refrigerator in May but due to several issues it wasn't delivered and set up until July. Let me say it has been worth the wait.
My cold gets cold and the freezer does what it says it will do. The ice maker has made my partner smile so we are also good there. What I'm not so happy about is the fingerprints all over the frig. I have to find a good stainless steel cleaner so I don't damage the doors. For those of you wondering who the heck is Amana they fall under Whirlpool ha!!

I purchased this refrigerator about a month ago and have been impressed with it so far. My one gripe with this purchase is that it did not come with an installation manual. The pamphlet it came with directs you to the website to download a PDF version, which is great and easy. However, the link is broken and leads you to an error page. I emailed Customer Support 8 days ago and still have not received a response back. When I have been able to call it has been outside of their business hours. Thankfully I was able to find a YouTube tutorial instructing how to level and set the refrigerator. Because of this hassle, I would hesitate to recommend Amana in the future.

Bought a new Amana side by side to replace my old Amana side by side that lasted 24 years. The old Amana was so good I had to get another just like it. Well made, quality materials, reasonably priced. Shopped big box stores but got best deal and service from local dealer Daniel Appliance. Delivered and installed next day.
